very interesting. we all seem to be sharply distinguishing between pedestrian and vehicular movement.
ReplyDeletei like the idea of a water channel. the hydrology map shows existing seasonal patterns for this, which could be superimpose on this sort of a diagram.
pedestrian courts are nice, but when resolving this, relationship between court and water needs differentiation. similar to original scheme.
I think, diagrammatically, to work with passive cooling, one can look at the courts facing water. Variations/ disctintions can be brought about by built enclosure, levels, surface treatments...
