Open spaces in the campus will make our vision come alive.

Now they’re assembling an installation for Convocation Day in a clearing by the auditorium. Others are nailing down a stage for the next Spandan production, balanced cleverly at the edge of the water. Still others are watching them while reading on the steps into the canyon. Sometimes a class and its teacher spill out into a courtyard session, where electives on industrial design melt into philosophy. A meeting with her dissertation guide carries into informal counselling session in the dell by the workshops. On the library terrace a PHD fellow sympathises with them after their absolutely terrible crit, and then takes them across to the campus centre for a samosa. Looks like it’s a demonstration day – 10 year olds stand agape at the foot of the wind turbine, learning how the wheels of the School of Planning and Architecture turn and turn about and turn again and make the school live forever.
